Home In the Immaculate Heart

Spread the love

+JMJ

Last week I shared about finding my Home in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  It is place where I have found peace, comfort, love, and understanding.  It has become a place where I can go to let go of worry, anxiety, and anger.  It is place where I can fall apart if I need too.  It is fortified, secure, and impenetrable.  A fortress of strength infused with love.

Inside His Sacred Heart resides the Immaculate Heart of our Holy Mother.  Separate, but still one with Him.  It is place of repose which gathers, magnifies, and multiplies His love.  Dispensing it according to my needs.

My Contemplation- The Immaculate Heart

There is a chamber within His fortified heart, that is much more delicate, not weak, but also relies on the protection of the Lord.  I see the heart of our Lady, the chamber inside His heart, made of glass or crystal, laced with gold.  A place of concentrated warmth and comfort, which stems from the love of Our Lord.  Light filters through the crystal causing rainbows to dance round the whole place.  Giving the effect of prisms everywhere.  Dazzled and captivated I take a seat on the floor and watch the beautiful display of light frolic around the crystal room.

Her Soul (Heart) Magnifies the Lord

“My soul doth magnify the Lord.  And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.  Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.  Because He that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is His name.”

Our Lord lovingly gave us our Lady, to be our Mother, as He agonized on the cross.  Of all the things He could have had on His mind, He thought of her and of us.  Moved with the deepest love for her, He made sure she was taken care of in more ways than one.  Physically in this world by St. John.  But also by giving her a purpose beyond her greatest purpose of bringing the Son of God into the world.  The purpose of dispensing His graces to us.

I see the prism effect in may contemplation as His love filtered through the gentle crystals of our Lady.  Her heart being a place where His love is dispersed like a prism.  Reflecting and “dividing” according to the graces needed.  What a beautiful thing this is!  His love comes through her and is dispensed into the graces I need in any situation.  His love does not change, just as the light itself coming through the prism does not change, but is multiplied into something just as beautiful.

Ave Maria!
